Screen Questions and Exam Assistance

Ask about a complete on-screen problem and continue follow-ups in the same question context.

How do I ask AskCc about a problem on screen?

Section titled “How do I ask AskCc about a problem on screen?”

During an interview session, use Ctrl+Alt+S, or enable With screenshot in the answer composer and send. AskCc answers using the current screenshot and your typed instruction.

  1. Show the complete problem on the current screen

    Include the prompt, choices, code, chart, and constraints. If content spans multiple screens, zoom out or explain what is missing rather than sending half a problem.

  2. Choose the appropriate mode

    Use Meeting app interview for normal meeting software. Use Anti-screen-switch detection for browser questions or pages that monitor focus, and operate it with shortcuts.

  3. Send with a screenshot

    Use the shortcut, or turn on With screenshot and add an instruction such as “Provide a Python solution and explain complexity.”

  4. Verify the prompt before using the answer

    Check the recognized numbers, choices, code, and constraints. Send a clearer screenshot when content is incomplete or blurry.

Can I continue asking about the same screenshot?

Yes. Continue the follow-up in the same answer context to preserve the relevant problem. Treat an unrelated new screenshot as a new question; unrelated old interview transcripts should not be used as evidence for it.

How can I improve screen recognition?

  • Include one primary problem per screenshot.
  • Keep text sharp, upright, and high-contrast.
  • Do not crop the prompt, choices, examples, or constraints.
  • State the required language and output format for code questions.
  • Keep titles, axes, legends, and units for tables and charts.
  • Verify the prompt first, then the answer.

Does a screen question use my personal knowledge base?

A standalone screen question primarily uses the current screen and your typed instruction. Do not assume that a personal knowledge base participates; provide required facts directly when the task depends on them.

When should I not use screen assistance?

Section titled “When should I not use screen assistance?”

Do not use it when an interview, exam, assessment, employer, school, or local rule forbids outside assistance. AskCc cannot decide whether AI is permitted in a specific situation.
